The Working Group collected the static data from 2010 and published the data.
Shipping in the year 2010
The total shipping quantity of the carbon fibers by Japanese manufacture was 16,028 tons showing 66.2% up against that of the pervious year. This is biggest increase in history of the survey since 1991. Past records of the annual shipping quantity and the annual rate of growth of carbon fibers in Japan are as shown below.

Carbon Fiber Markets in the year 2010
The shipping quantities of all three main markets (aero-space use, sporting goods and industrial uses) increased sharply not only in domestic market but also in export.
Export ratio reaches 78.6% in 2010. In the beginning of the survey in 1991, export ratio was 57.2%. Then the ratio has been expanding continuously.
