Main Activities
The division collected statistics data for
the year 2002 and published the data for the
first half (January to June) in October 2002
and for the second half (July to December) in
March 2003.
Trend of shipment by JCMA Member Companies in
the year 2002
The total sum of the shipment was 10,134
tons in the year 2002 representing 11.9% annual
growth rate. This is the first occasion for
the total shipment exceeded 10,000 tons per
annum. The records of shipment quantities and
its annual growth rate are shown in the table
and figures as illustrated below.

Trend of shipping
The shipment growth in the year 2002 was mainly
for exports to international markets as a basic
material of sporting goods (1,020 tons annual
growth, representing annual growth rate 39%).
The same figures for sales to domestic markets
as a basic material of industrial products were
338 tons annual growth, representing 17.5% annual
growth rate.
